Part 1 of this three-article series showed how to create your own musical photomontage, but on playback, you might have seen some images displayed as a zoomed-in version of the original. This is because the scale (the physical dimensions) of your image doesn’t match the timeline.
To see this clearly, move the timeline cursor over any image on the timeline to display it in the Program window.
Double-click on that same image in the timeline to display it in the Source window on the left (see Figure 1).
In this example, you can clearly see how much of the image is missing when played back on the timeline.
Step 1: Correct Scale Problems
The two most common ways to correct scale problems are to use the Premiere CS3 built-in Scale to Frame Size function or to manually adjust the image using the Effects controls.
