Working with Pages

Once you have many pages in your document, you need easy ways to navigate from one page to another.

To move to a specific page:

Double-click the page in the Pages palette that you want to move to. This centers the page within the document window.

or

Double-click the name of the spread to fit both pages in the document window.

Tip

  • You can also scroll or use the Hand tool to move through the document.

InDesign also lets you move from one page to another using the page controls at the bottom of the document window.

To use the window page controls:

• Click the window page controls (Figure 4) to navigate through the document.

or

Enter a number in the Page field to move to a specific page.
