Bonus: Embedding Third-Party Videos Without Code

Want to embed a YouTube or Vimeo video the easy way? Follow these steps:

  1. Copy the URL of your video (just the URL, not the embed code).
  2. Create a new post in WordPress.
  3. Paste the URL for your video into the new post, as shown in Figure 9.
  4. Figure 9 Paste the link to your video directly into the body of your post.

  5. Publish your post. Behold! Your link has become a video (see Figure 10).
  6. Figure 10 The link you pasted into your post is automagically converted into a video!
