Load the Pantone Colors

If you’ve been wondering where the Pantone colors are hiding, we can help. Go to the Swatches palette and from its flyout menu choose New Color Swatch. A New Color Swatch dialog will appear (shown here) and if you click on the Color Mode pop-up menu, you’ll see a list of all the color libraries, which are installed with InDesign. Choose the one you want (in this case, PANTONE solid coated) and that set immediately loads. To choose a particular color, type the number in the PANTONE field.
