Return to the Default Black Stroke, No Fill

The default settings for InDesign’s stroke and fill are black for the stroke, and no fill (so if you were to draw a box, it would be empty in the middle, with a thin black stroke around it). To get back to these default settings anytime, press the same key as Photoshop uses to reset its default Foreground/Background colors—the letter “d.” Of course, you could click the little Default Fill and Stroke icon (circled here) to return to the default colors, but who has time for that, eh?
