Creating and saving table styles
Make it easy to recreate tables by saving table attributes such as: Border, Color, Cell Pad, and Cell Space, Vertical Alignment, Horizontal Alignment, and Color.
- If not visible, choose Window > Table & Boxes. If not already selected, click the Table Style tab.
- Make sure the table is selected by inserting the cursor in any cell. Then, click on the word <table> in the line of source code that appears in the document bar at the bottom of the screen. This is a hierarchical display of your source code, and is yet another way of selecting a table in GoLive.
- Click on the New table style button () in the Table Style tab of the Table & Boxes palette. Type in basic table in the New Table Style dialog window and click OK.
The table attributes are captured and a preview is visible in the Table Styles tab.
Later in this lesson you will apply an existing style to a table.
