Upgrading Software and Changing Client Settings Commands
If you have an existing Remote Desktop infrastructure in place, you can use the Upgrade Client Software command to automatically upgrade your clients to Remote Desktop 3. To use this command, select the target computers in Remote Desktop and select Upgrade Client Software from the Manage menu after you have installed the Remote Desktop 3 administrator application. This command can be applied to any Remote Desktop version 2.2 clients.
Likewise, you can change the Remote Desktop client settings for any managed computers at any time. Simply select the computers in Remote Desktop and select the Change Client Settings command from the Manage menu. You will see a dialog box very similar to the Create Client Installer dialog box. Go through the steps to indicate how the clients should be reconfigured and the changes will be sent to the clients. Note that these changes will likely affect the Remote Desktop configurations of other users and administrative computers within your network.
