Neale Monks

Neale Monks is an author, scientist, and long-term Mac user. He met his first Macintosh circa 1991 and learned how simple (and how empowering) computing could be. His conversion to the Mac was sealed during his PhD project in cladistics, a scientific field where Macs predominate. He is a regular contributor to MacFormat and MacWorld UK magazines, and author of Astronomy with a Home Computer and Buying Used Macs. Although Neale lives in a quaint Victorian cottage in a sickeningly cute English market town, he enjoys holidaying in exotic and exciting Nebraska.
