Apple has provided a preview of the latest version of the popular Final Cut Pro video editing software!
In front of a crowd of 1700 video editors at the Final Cut Pro User Group SuperMeet at the National Association of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas yesterday, Apple previewed the next version of Final Cut Pro, dubbed version X (Ten).
Written from the ground up, Final Cut Pro X features full 64-bit support, a completely redesigned interface, and many new organization and editing features, including people detection, automatic audio correction, magnetic timeline, automatic image stabilization, and more, that make editing with Final Cut more intuitive and efficient.
Final Cut Pro X will be sold through the Mac App Store beginning in June for $299, a huge reduction from the current $999 price of Final Cut Studio.
