There are many factors that can cause color problems in a digital photograph. Light (or lack of), time of day, surrounding objects, and many other circumstances all affect the color of a photograph. Adobe Photoshop is the standard application for color-correcting these types of images. Using its wide variety of tools, you can adjust color balance, saturation, and contrast very easily.
