This book is really just informational about components of QuarkXPress 8. There are very few actual hand-on assignments which would actually help you learn the program. Instead, the book just tells you what will happen based on different criteria.I have the Against The Clock book for QuarkXPress 7 and it is extremely comprehensive. Even though it's for version 7, it is still very applicable to version 8. I recommend it instead of this book.
