Add Masking Layer

The bouquet image is too big and covers up too much of the layout. We only want part of the bouquet image to display, so we’ll use a layer mask to hide the unwanted parts.

03.jpg Select the Rectangle tool.

04.jpg Set the Stroke color well to none.

05.jpg Set the Fill color well to black.

08.jpg Click the red X in the Eye column on the bouquet layer to make the image visible again.

09.jpg Right-click (Windows) or control.jpg-click (Mac) the layer bouquet mask. Choose Mask from the drop-down menu.
