Organize Symbols

In the Library panel, you’ll see two new listings—a graphic symbol named logo.png and a folder named Fireworks Objects that contains the objects that make up the logo. Let’s take a moment to begin organizing our symbols, which will save us time and headaches later.

Double-click the symbol name logo.png in the Library panel to select the text. Be sure you double-click the text, not the icon. Change it to gr_logo, and press enter.jpg.

Click the small triangle next to the logo parts folder icon to expand the folder view, and verify that the symbol is in the folder along with the folders containing objects that make up the symbol gr_logo.
