ChewedKandi is the moniker of freelance Illustrator Sharon Milne. She lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the United Kingdom and is obsessed in the scalable medium of vector. Her art has been featured in a variety places including Adobe Illustrator, Abduzeedo, deviantART, Digital Artist Magazine, Noupe Design Blog, Sublime Rush, VecTips and VectorTuts+. She currently writes tutorials and articles on a regular basis for one of the largest vector websites on the web, VectorTuts+ and creates artwork for commercial and private clients. Previous clients include: Adobe, TutsPlus.com and Smashing Magazine. She also volunteers over on deviantART in a mentor capacity as a Community Volunteer.

Very good examples,insightful artist perspectives on Adobe Illustrator and a fun read.I was very happy a digital copy was made available for customers because I use the kindle app. Thank you guys for making this book.

I am very pleased with the result, and glad I pre-ordered 3 copies! I've received the product and it looks great. This book includes tutorials from a few of the artists featured and I can't wait to dive into some of them. They make really great gifts for art enthusiasts. I just gave a relative a copy, and she's now proudly displaying it on her coffee table as a conversation starter.I hope there will be more books like this in the future...sign me up for the first copy please! |
