Wrapping Up

So why does bad design succeed?

It doesn’t.

Bad design does not enable a company to succeed. Companies may sometimes succeed in spite of bad design, but this is never a safe bet to make. In fact, a weak design could be the one thing your competition has to hang over your head.

The moral to this story: Always err on the side of good design.
