Opening? Saving? Spotlight Will Help

Okay, it’s time to save a file, so you choose Save As (press Command-Shift-S) and the Save As dialog appears. You want to save your document in a particular folder, but you can’t remember exactly where that folder is. No sweat, because Spotlight lives in the Save (and Open) dialog, as well—it’s everywhere! Just type the name of the folder you’re looking for in the Spotlight search field near the upper-right corner of the Save As dialog. When you see the folder you’re looking for, press Return. Note: If you don’t see the search field in the Save As dialog, click the blue triangle to the right of the field where you typed in the filename and the dialog will expand.
