More Watermark Choices

Watermarks are a great tool for signing your work, discouraging copyright violations, or simply highlighting your brand. Lightroom 2 had a very limited watermarking feature. Lightroom's new Watermark Editor lets you create custom text- or graphic-based watermarks.

The watermark is applied after you size or crop an image—enabling you to position it precisely relative to a photo's cropped edge. Text choices include font style, size, color, shadowed offset, opacity, and orientation—horizontal (see Figure 13) or vertical (see Figure 14). You can create and save multiple watermarks, making it easy to pick one tailored for a particular output or client.
