Home
Apple has created features that make it for a number of people to use the same computer, yet all users have their own private, protected space which includes a Home, your own Desktop, and your own, private Trash basket. Even if you are the only person using your Mac, you have a "Users" folder and a Home button.
Click the "Home" button icon in the Toolbar to go straight to your "home files." To learn all about Home and what it means to you, see Chapter 9. To learn to add or delete users, change a user's privileges, and share files between various users, see Chapter 20.
You can see here in the Column View that the hard disk named "Robin's Hard Disk" is selected (1), and on that hard disk is a selected folder called "Users" (2), and in "Users" is a selected home folder called "robin" (3), and in "robin" are folders (4) that are for that user's personal and private use (except the folder named "Public").
