As part of the document creation process (Step 5 above), you see a dialog named Adobe Acrobat that describes Picture Tasks ( Figure 3.6 ). Picture Tasks is a separate plug-in that is not always present in Acrobat. The plug-in is launched when your document is created in Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements (version 2 or newer), or in Acrobat using JPEG images, as in this project.

When the Picture Tasks plug-in is activated, several changes are made to the program:
- The Picture Tasks button appears on the Task bar. It includes a pull-down menu that lists Picture Task options (

- Picture Tasks is now included in the View > Task Buttons menu (

- A How To window displays at the right of the program window containing several links to information about what you can do with Picture Tasks.
Picture Tasks How To Window
You can work directly from the Picture Tasks How To window to do a number of tasks ( Figure 3.9 ). For example, you can
- Create a slideshow automatically through a single dialog
- Export the pictures from the document and either save them or edit them in an image-editing program
- Print the pictures using a number of different page layouts
- Choose from several online functions for sharing or ordering online

In this discussion, we'll focus on creating the slideshow, and then we'll take a look at how the pictures in the slideshow can be printed.
