Speed Through the Swatches Palette

Want to get to a particular color in your Swatches palette in a hurry? Hold Option-Command (PC: Alt-Control) and click within your Swatches palette (you’ll see a thin black highlight line appear around the list area of your Swatches palette). Now you can simply type in the first letter (or first few letters) of the name of the color swatch you want and it’ll jump right to that swatch (this is yet another reason why you want to name your color swatches). This is particularly helpful if you’ve loaded an entire Pantone set.
