Save Time by Dragging and Dropping Color

If you want to apply a color to an object, there are two ways to do it: (1) Click on the object, then click on a color swatch in the Swatches palette (which takes two clicks), or (2) don’t click on the object at all—just go straight to the color swatch and drag-and-drop it right onto the object (just one click). When you get over the object you want to drop a color onto, the cursor will change to a hand with a plus (+) sign, so you know it has recognized that you’re dragging and dropping color. This is a big time saver and as many times as we apply color, it can save you hundreds of clicks in no time.
