Merge Swatches

An alternative way to delete swatches is to simply merge the swatches you don’t want into one swatch you do want. Here’s how: Start by clicking on the swatch you want to keep, then Command-click (PC: Control-click) on the swatches you want to delete. Now, to merge them go to the palette’s flyout menu and choose Merge Swatches. All that will be left is the first swatch you clicked on (the one you wanted to keep) and the others are long gone!
