Create Perfect Shades

If you’ve created a color (using the Color palette, of course) and then you decide you want to see a lighter shade of that same color, here’s a trick you’ll love—just hold the Shift key, grab one of the color sliders (as shown here) and all the other sliders will move right along with it, giving you either a lighter shade (if you drag left with CMYK; right with RGB) or a more saturated version of the color (if you drag right with CMYK; left with RGB).
