Creating Chapter Tracks

You can use QuickTime Pro to efficiently and easily add chapter markers to movies. Chapter markers enter QuickTime movies as tracks and are displayed to the audience as navigation aids in the QuickTime Pro interface to the right of the timeline.

  1. Open a plain-text document in a text editor.
  1. Save the file and then open it in QuickTime Pro.
  2. Choose Edit > Select all and then choose Edit > Copy.
  1. Open the target movie’s properties by choosing Window > Show Movie Properties.
