10 Minutes with Flash: Repeating History through Commands
Flash MX 2004 has brought design geeks like us something we've been using for a long time: the History panel. We've seen it, used it, and loved it in other programs; and now we finally have this power in Flash.
Automating Your Life
The History panel doesn't let you undo all of life's mistakes, but it does enable you to clean up after yourself when working on a design that you suddenly begin to hate. When using it together with the new Commands menu, Flash MX 2004 will have you automating your life in no time at all. In fact, this article is part of a series called "10 Minutes with Flash," so you know can pick this up in, well, about 10 minutes.
So go ahead and crack open Flash MX 2004 and then open up the History panel by choosing Window > Other Panels > History (Ctrl/Cmd + F10). Because you're likely stealing time from your work day to read this, I'll get right to the details.
