Editing Effects
When you click the Avid Effect Editor icon, the Effect Editor window opens, with the parameters for the selected effect. In FCP, you can view and edit a clip's filter parameters on the Viewer's Filters tab. For more information on effect interfaces, see Chapter 14, "Multiple Graphic Interfaces for Effects."

Drag the Video tab away from the Viewer window. The video becomes a separate window.
Park the playhead on the clip in the Timeline, and either double-click the clip or press RETURN to open it in the Viewer. You will see the affected clip on the Canvas.
To remove a filter:
Do one of the following:
Click the filter name in the Filters tab and press DELETE.
CTRL+click the clip in the Timeline, select Remove Attributes, and click Filters.
