Sandra Alves has been a designer for over 15 years, first as an illustrator for the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. She now works at Adobe Systems in the User Interface Design group. A contributor to several books, including The Illustrator 8 Wow! Book and Design Essentials, 3rd Edition, she has also taught workshops and classes on several software products, including Adoobe Illustrator.
