I walk briskly; I started wearing eyeglasses in college; I thought for a time I wanted to be a disc jockey; I have a delightful family (that's a picture of Lynn and Lincoln); I can't believe I get paid to read books; I'm left-handed; I've had more than 200 stitches; I saw The Jam at the Warfield in San Francisco; I think I saw The Pixies at the D.C. Space in D.C.; I've worked at a handful of now-dead computer magazines, including MacWEEK, MacUser, and Corporate Computing; I often wear Vans tennis shoes; I've been a resident of California, Nevada, Utah, Connecticut, and Maryland; for several years, I worked at the White House; I use lard in my pie crusts; I sit next to Cary; I have an old Nikon F camera; I used to have a 1968 Camaro, which I sold to a friend who then drove it through a brick wall (the friend is fine: He later dated my sister).
