Give Lightroom Its Own Identity

Photoshop Lightroom can be customized easily to display your name, company name, logo etc, with just a couple of steps. By default, the top left corner of the Lightroom window displays the Lightroom logo. If, instead, you'd like your name or a custom logo to display there, simply go to the Lightroom menu on the Macintosh or the Edit menu on Windows and choose Identity Plate Setup.
The first option is a styled identity plate:
Step One:
Check the box beside Enable Identity Plate.
Step Two:
Enter the text you want to appear, highlight it, and choose the font, size, and color you want to use.

Step Three:
If you wish, choose a different font size and color for the module picker buttons. Click OK.
The other option is to use Photoshop to create a graphic to use for your identity plate.
Step One:
In Photoshop, create a document that is no more than 60 pixels in height and whatever width you want your design to be (depending on your monitor resolution, the graphic shouldn't be more than 600 pixels wide). If you want the design to have a transparent background, hide the background layer. Save the file as a PSD.

Step Two:
In Lightroom, in the Identity Plate Editor, click the "Use a graphical identity plate" button, and use the Locate File button to import your graphic.

Click OK.
Now, your copy of Lightroom will be personalized with your custom identity plate.

Once you've created a custom identity plate, you can use it in other ways in Lightroom, in the Slideshow and Print modules. In the Overlays plane, check the Identity Plate box and choose your settings for Opacity and Scale—you can even rotate the identity plate using the angle beside the Identity Plate check box.

If you want to create and use several identity plates, that's no problem—use the Identity Plate Editor to save (and name) each identity plate. Then, you can use the pull down menu to choose between your saved plates.
