Animating the Text
By using the handful of frames in the Photoshop 6 file, you can create a multiframe animation by simply making the individual layers visible in each frame sequence. Combine with the blurred layers and set the timing of the animation for the final "Rubber Band Snap" effect.
With only the black background layer and the undistorted text layer visible, jump to Adobe ImageReady. The first frame on the Animation bar is selected, and the image appears in the project window.
Add the next frame in the animation. Click New Frame in the Animation bar's side pull-down menu.
After a new frame has been added, simply shuffle through the Layers palette and make each distorted layer visible in succession according to the distortion amounts. Refer to the frame number chart in the sidebar for the proper sequence in this first animation.
