  1. Use the Pick and Reject flags to assess and cull imported photos.

  2. First, you can drag images in a collection into any order you want. Second, you can add a photo to as many collections as you want without making a new copy of the photo (saving you disk space). Third, any Develop changes you make to the image will be reflected in each collection it is in.

  3. A smart collection is a self-populating album based on criteria that you set.

  4. The Quick Collection is a temporary collection that lives in the Catalog panel.

  5. Click the lightning bolt icon to the left of the collection name in the Collections panel, then click the Make Public button at the upper right of the preview area.
