Moving On
When you select the correct settings for your printer, the results are likely to be at least close to what you intended. Getting the right settings in multiple places can be confusing, but the steps in this chapter will help you quickly get your printer and software speaking to each other.
Now that your monitor and printer are speaking the same color language, you're ready to turn your attention to optimizing your images for printing. In Chapter 7, I'll build on what you've learned here to show you how to use custom profiles and printer settings to get the absolute best prints. If you're interested in how to optimize your images for printing or making creative adjustments, head on into Chapter 5, "Editing Your Photos." If you just want to print what you have, jump right into Chapter 6, "Resizing and Sharpening Your Images."
