Changing the Surrounding Color

All modes surround the document with gray except for Full Screen mode, which is black. To change this setting, Control-click (Mac) or right-click (Windows) the surrounding area and choose an option from the context menu that appears. You can also change the surrounding color by Shift-clicking the Paint Bucket tool (under the Gradient tool in the Tools palette).
