Using Google or Yahoo Search

It’s great to be able to go to sites that you already know by either keying in the URL or using your Bookmarks. However, it’s even more fun sometimes discovering new sites. You can search for sites right on your iPhone using two of the industry’s leading search engines. The iPhone is set to Google’s search engine by default. However, if you prefer Yahoo, you can make Yahoo the default by changing your preference in the Safari settings (tap on the Settings button on the Home screen). To use your default search engine, launch Safari from the Home screen. Then tap the Address Bar to bring it up along with the keyboard. Now tap on the search field and type in your search terms. Once you’ve typed in your search terms, tap the Google (or Yahoo) button on the bottom right of the keyboard to begin your search. Once your search results come up, you can then tap on any of the links to go to any of the pages that you want to visit.
