Grouping Graphic Elements

In Blend, you can group two or more objects in a layout panel. Grouping elements enables you to more easily transform, move, or select objects that are related to one another.

To group objects into a panel:

  1. Select the objects you want to group.
  2. From the main application menu, choose Objects > Group Into, and choose the layout panel type you would like to group the objects into.

    Or:

    Right-click the selected objects, and from the context menu, choose Group Into; then choose the layout panel type you desire (Figure 4.26).
