Options bar

The options bar is used to choose settings for each tool (e.g., opacity, fade distance, blending mode). Options on the bar change depending on which tool is currently chosen, and your choices will remain in effect until you change them. Like the palettes, the options bar can be dragged to a different part of your screen.

On the right side of the options bar is an area called the pallette well that you can dock (store) palettes in.
