GETTING TO THE FOLDER OF PHOTOS YOU WANT—FAST!

Tired of trying to navigate your entire drive using that tiny navigation window in the File Browser? What if you could instantly jump right to the folder of images you want? Well, in Photoshop CS it's easy. If you can see the folder on your hard drive, you're set—just drag that folder from your desktop (or wherever it is on your hard drive) and either drop it right on the drop-down menu at the top of the File Browser or on the Preview palette on the left-hand side. The File Browser will immediately target that folder as the current folder. Now, here's the catch: You can't just drag this folder anywhere in the File Browser window—it only works if you drag the folder directly to that pop-up menu or the Preview palette (they will highlight when you're right over either one of them).
