Exporting the Podcast to iWeb

After you edit your audio, add your images and URLs (if you choose to add them), enter your podcast information, and are satisfied with the results, it’s time to go back to export the episode to iWeb for final editing and publishing. To export the episode to iWeb, simply select Send Podcast To iWeb from the Share menu (you should save the episode first, just in case of problems—of course, you should save periodically during editing for that reason). GarageBand spends some time packaging the episode and then iWeb launches (or comes to the front if it is running in the background).

iWeb asks you which blog to send the podcast to. (Yes, this is a little strange, but you could add the episode to either a blog or a podcast—though only podcasts would allow the episode to be viewed as anything other than a blog entry). Select the podcast page you created earlier from the pop-up menu and click OK. iWeb then creates a new episode page automatically, using the same template that you selected when you created the podcast. The podcast episode also appears in the entries list and is added to the podcast main and archive pages.
