Applying filters has always been a pretty permanent function in Photoshop: you run a filter and save the document. It’s pretty difficult to change your mind the next time you open that document. But thanks to Smart Filters in the Photoshop CS3 Beta, that situation has changed—in a BIG way!

First, you’ll deal with any small blemishes that might be apparent to users.
Add a new layer above the Background. Click on the Spot Healing Brush Tool; in the Options Bar, make sure that Use All Layers is checked. Click on the blemishes you want to fix.
